You've found an exchange that you'd like to sign up for, Below is a guide to help you as you Sign up, Get matched, and Post your gift!
- Please fill out all your preferences!
- Filing out these preferences with information pertaining to the exchange can immensely help your gifter. Please try not to add "Will Fill out later" Most Giftee's will forget.
- Confirm your address is correct!
- Waiting until you have been matched or worse that your giftee has already shipped your gift to your previous address can cause a huge hassle for you and your gifter.
Once you are in an active exchange you will be unable to change your address and will need to reach out to support to get it updated.
- If there are customs restrictions or requirements for your country and you're doing an international exchange, please let your Gifter know!
- This includes things like ID numbers (India, I'm looking at you), phone numbers or the maximum amount a gift can be worth before a customs charge gets slapped on it. You can add this in the "Shipping Instructions" section.
- Once the exchange has matched please keep an eye on your messages
- If your Gifter reaches out to you please respond to them as quickly as possible.
- Your gift has arrived!
- Please get that gift posted to the gallery as quickly as possible. If you plan on waiting for a specific day ( Christmas, Birthday, Etc.) Please reach out to your Gifter and let them know that gift arrived and that you are planning on waiting to post that gift.
Lastly, Patience is Key!
Some Gifters will ship within hours of retrieving their giftee's information, but the majority don't. Many gifters will wait until the last day to get gifts shipped out.
Complaining about your gift and/or gifter is not allowed, Please try to refrain from posting asking about why your gifter hasn't pulled your info, Shipped your gift, or Responded to your messages until after the Ship date.
